Exchange & Returns
We want you to be completely satisfied with your By Malene Birger order. As such, we offer an easy exchange and return service. For customers within the EU, this service is free of charge.
How to exchange
If you wish to exchange your purchase to a different size or colour, please contact us within 14 days and we will arrange a swift exchange without you having to place a second purchase. For the return, simply follow the steps below.
How to return
Should you wish to return your order, please do so within 14 days by following these steps:
- Pack all the items you wish to return – ideally into the original parcel provided
- Please fill out the return form in the bottom of the delivery note, tear it off and include in the package. Including the form helps us to process your refund faster
- Attach the prepaid return label to your parcel. The label is included in the parcel upon delivery to you and it also contains the return address and tracking number. If you do not have the prepaid label you can print a new label with return address and tracking number here.
- Book a pickup here or contact your local UPS office by phone on 078 250 877. Alternatively you can return your parcel to your nearest return point. You can find tracking information at www.ups.com.
- We recommend that you obtain proof of postage (receipt) when returning goods to us.
Arrange the return yourself
You have the option to arrange a return shipment yourself through any postal courier within 14 days. In this case you will be responsible for the full cost of returning the parcel and the products will be your responsibility until they reach our warehouse.
Please make sure to fill out the Return Form at the bottom of the Delivery Note enclosed with your order. Please enclose it with your products in order for us to process your refund correctly.

The moment we receive your returned package we will arrange your refund (excluding original shipping cost) and a notification e-mail will be sent to you. We aim to process a refund within 24 hours of receiving your parcel, or of receiving evidence of you having sent back the parcel. After you have received the e-mail, please allow 5-10 working days for the refund to be credited to your account. The amount of time this takes will depend on which bank or card issuer you have. Unfortunately, this delay is outside our control. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase. In the event that we are unable to refund your credit card, we will contact you to arrange an alternate means of refunding your order.
